Resumen

OBJETIVO: El estudio presenta los resultados de la adaptación de una escala de autoeficacia académica. En concreto, el estudio tenía como propósito analizar la estructura interna de la traducción y adaptación de la escala ASES de Chemers, Hu y García (2001). MÉTODO: Participaron 4950 estudiantes universitarios chilenos. Adicionalmente, para estudiar la Equivalencia/Invarianza de Medida entre distintos grupos de estudiantes, hemos realizado un análisis de invarianza factorial. RESULTADOS: Los resultados indican que la escala tiene propiedades psicométricas adecuadas; además muestran la existencia de una estructura de dos factores consistente desde el punto de vista sustantivo y con un ajuste estadístico adecuado. El análisis de invarianza factorial muestra la existencia de invarianza métrica entre los grupos comparados, CONCLUSIONES: La evidencia muestra la validez de las puntuaciones y la su equivalencia entre grupos de estudiantes.
