Abstract

This paper deals with a comparative analysis between Nicanor Parra´s and Gabriela Mistral´s poetry, focusing on the diverse experiences, images, and attitudes toward God that these poetic speakers assume. Starting from a selection of their poems, an answer will be intended to respond the question about their conception of the divine that we understand as characteristic of the new questioning spaces emerging during the 20th century.
