Abstract

This study intends to prove Dionysius the Areopagite’s in?uence on Edith Stein’s understanding of love in her book Endliches und ewiges Sein VII, 5.7. It aims to defne the theological-philosophical meaning of the over?owing characteristic of God’s love to human beings and from human beings to God and the others, that is, it examines its individual social-ecclesial dimension as a descending-ascending dynamics of its participative and mediating realization.
