Catholic higher educational institutions are called upon in each academic term to offer
young people a qualified undergraduate major, amalgamating current advances in science
and technology with humanistic training, including religion as a key aspect, together with
making a difference in the professional practice of future graduates in society. For
contributing to this task, this paper aims to explore how young college students are
experiencing their own religiosity, what characteristics are present, how they understand it,
and how they manage their practices. To do this, an exploratory descriptive study was
conducted on a convenience sample of 181 students, who answered an 18-item survey
from Google forms, before giving their consent. Among main results, which become input
for the guiding action of the teaching staff, belief in God, which plays an important role in
their lives, stands out. Managing with God, without church mediation or practices linked to
Christian religion, is a relationship on his own.
